Sparkling like jewels amongst the glittering gold. This one seems to remind me of jewel encrusted gold bands stacked on top of each other, hence the name. Used a Mandelbox to create this one, nothing too fancy, just added some rotation on the X and Z axis to get the little jewel-like effect. The color is just from a random gradient ramp.

What Am I?     Lingering in that photo...

In that simple shot (still, I feel the bullet there)
I look, and I see a woman.

HelicaseHelio and I were always sitting on the stairs, chatting about the lamina and occasionally making snide remarks about ribosomes. There wasn't much for us to do.
